Due giorni di Country no-stop all'insegna del divertimento e della condivisone:
SABATO 21 NOVEMBRE orario 10.30 - 00.30
DOMENICA 22 NOVEMBRE orario 10.30 - 18.30
La programmazione sarà organizzata in fasce orarie, e si alterneranno:

WORKSHOP del coreografo Adriano Castagnoli

WORKSHOP del coreografo David Villellas

WORKSHOP del coreografo Chris Pasin
-
DJ-SET, che includerà una selezione di coreografie più recenti di tutti i livelli

PLAYLIST VINTAGE, per poter ballare anche coreografie più datate che meritano di essere riportate in pista.

Contest “The Underdogs”
Durante l'intera durata del festival saranno presenti stand di street food e birra artigianale con alternative anche vegane e celiache.
Two full days of non-stop Country fun, sharing, and dancing:
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21 10:30 AM – 00:30 AM
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
The schedule will be organized into different time slots, featuring:

WORKSHOPS with choreographer Adriano Castagnoli

WORKSHOPS with choreographer Chris Pasin

DJ SETS featuring a selection of recent choreographies for all levels

VINTAGE PLAYLISTS, giving dancers the chance to enjoy older choreographies that deserve to return to the dance floor

Throughout the entire festival, street food and craft beer stands will be available, including vegan and gluten-free options.

Un progetto speciale dedicato al passato:
UNITED COUNTRIES – REVIVAL
Nasce con l’idea di riportare in pista balli storici che oggi vengono ballati sempre meno.
Il progetto NON riguarderà le vecchie coreografie delle edizioni passate di United Countries.
L’obiettivo è invece quello di recuperare e ridare valore ogni anno a una coreografia scelta dal repertorio storico, ma NON tra i precedenti balli presentati al consueto United Countries.

Balli che meritano di essere riscoperti, reimparati e soprattutto riballati insieme in pista.
Ogni ballo selezionato verrà reso pubblico, dando la possibilità sia a chi già lo conosce sia a chi non lo ha mai ballato di viverlo insieme in pista.

A special project dedicated to the past:
UNITED COUNTRIES – REVIVAL
Created with the idea of bringing historic dances back to the dance floor, choreographies that today are danced less and less.
This project is NOT about revisiting choreographies from previous United Countries editions.
Instead, the goal is to recover and give new value each year to one choreography selected from the historical repertoire, completely independent from the dances presented at the regular United Countries event.
Dances that deserve to be rediscovered, relearned, and most importantly danced together again on the floor.
Each selected dance will be officially announced, giving both dancers who already know it and those discovering it for the first time the chance to experience it together on the dance floor.

The Underdogs – Country Western Dance Contest
Un contest che nasce con l' obiettivo di creare nuove coreografie che possano essere insegnate, condivise e portate in pista da tutti, nel rispetto del proprio livello.
Due categorie:
-
Beginners
-
Intermediate/Advanced
Saranno valorizzate coreografie ballabili, in pieno stile country western tradizionale, senza eccessi scenografici, passaggi inutilmente complessi o pause prolungate, ma con particolare attenzione alla fluidità, alla struttura musicale e alla fruibilità in pista.
​
Lo scopo è quello di proporre balli che possano vivere anche dopo il contest, diventando parte delle serate e del repertorio dei ballerini.
​
Perché il country non è solo da guardare…
è da ballare insieme.​

The Underdogs – Country Western Dance Contest
A contest created with the goal of developing new choreographies that can be taught, shared, and danced by everyone, while respecting each dancer’s level.
Two categories:
-
Beginners
-
Intermediate/Advanced
We will highlight choreographies that are truly danceable, in authentic country western style, without excessive staging, unnecessarily complex steps, or long pauses.
The focus will be on flow, musical structure, and real usability on the dance floor.
The aim is to create dances that live on beyond the contest, becoming part of social nights and dancers’ regular repertoire.
Because country isn’t just something to watch…
it’s something to dance together.
